Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur Sunday the 1st April 2018
Sunday is traditionally a day you get your chocolate rabbits out to devour them. This Sunday we get ourselves out and try to swallow our opponents. A victory will send a clear message of content; a defeat will say that we are still looking for the right combination.
Chelsea are behind us in the league, and that is where they must stay. In the football league, we have only suffered one defeat at our temporary home at Wembley. And that was against Chelsea, and we must revenge that defeat. All is resting on that match. We face Stoke City (away) and then City at Wembley after that match. All games are winnable and should be winnable if we believe that we are good enough to challenge for trophies.
So let us get our skates on and get ourselves into gear and fight the fight and come away with three points.
We have no injuries other than Kane and Winks for Sunday’s march. There are some rumours that Kane could be ready, but I can’t see it at the moment; pushing him could do more damage than good, and don't forget that we've got the semi-final against United coming up. I think we’ve got a competent team without Kane to win Sunday’s match so let us win it without him.
Chocolate is all good, but nothing will beat a good victory at Stamford Bridge. So let us get behind the team and go for it.
All the best and see you there,
