Bournemouth v Spurs Sunday

After our disastrous Wednesday night (and of course, our unbeaten run was ended) we now face Bournemouth away. We need to win this match, otherwise, it all could go so wrong.

Bournemouth has had an up and down season. They haven’t beaten any top four teams, however, they have beaten both Arsenal and Chelsea (neither are currently in the top four). That is the highlight of their season.

Spurs shouldn’t have any serious injury problems.

Bournemouth has to assess Jordon Ibe, Ryan Fraser and Marc Pugh. Jermain Defoe is fit again and might be recalled. Tyrone Mings will be absent because he is still injured.

As for us: Serge Aurier is available, but Dier has to be monitored so we will have to wait and see if he plays or not.

Toby Alderweireld is back in training but won’t be ready for the Sunday game. The other question is; will he get a crack at the whip as he will probably be gone at the end of the season because he is refusing to put pen to paper.

After this game, we take a break from the league and play Swansea City in the FA Cup quarter-finals. The next league match will be against Chelsea away on the 1st April unless Chelsea are still in the UEFA Champions, then it will be put back a day.
