Tomorrow night we – as in the team – face Manchester United in a game we must win. To not do so would put us in a very backward position.
We last faced them before Christmas and in a tightly close game, they just managed to pip us with one goal.
Tonight Liverpool take a trip to Huddersfield and Arsenal face Swansea (away). Both teams lost their last matches, both teams have been dumped out of the FA Cup. Would it be too much to ask for both Huddersfield and Swansea to win their games? On paper they – being Liverpool and Arsenal – should walk it, but then again, on paper, both teams should have won their last games.
Tomorrow night – when we face United – Chelsea take on Bournemouth and City take on WBA. Anything can happen, but whatever it is I hope it will be beneficial to us.
A win tomorrow would put us in a very healthy position.
Also, good news is that
Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Hugo Lloris, and Danny Rose are all back in training. Toby is still not 100% fit, while Aurier and Winks remain injured.
Alex Sanchez should also start for United. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly are both ruled out for tomorrow’s game.
So let us get behind our team and urge them on and upwards.
Yours, Don Scully
