After the gutless first-half performance against Leicester City and their attempt to rectify their poor performance in the second half, I was interested to see how things would go in training and then their press conference. In both Pochettino came out firing on all cylinders. The two he wanted to talk to in private was Alli and Christian Eriksen for their poor performance. Of course, he spoke to others, but their's was less than adequate. I am not the manager but I would have dropped them and let them think about their performances.

The conference was a different kettle of fish with the normal PR charm offensive and all smiles. One thing interesting was the connection that some had made to Pochettino and his book, out at the moment. I thought that was all bullshit and nothing really constructive by the press.

Basically, the eyes of the world are on Pochettino and his team - more so the fans - in how they come out and tackle Watford. They need to buck their ideas up and come out fighting otherwise we just might have a crisis. You certainly can't blame Wembley for away matches.

Let us get behind the team and then reflect tomorrow.
