Spurs v Crystal Palace

Tomorrow we face Palace, who are languishing at the bottom the Premier League. But don't be fooled by that. Their only victory was over last season's League Champions Chelsea. So nothing should be taken for granted. They - Palace - could easily come away with 3 pts if we dismiss them easily. Especially after taking on and beat one of the world's greatest football teams.

TEAM NEWS

We are without Lloris and Alderweireld. In the case of Toby, we lost him early against the European Champions but that didn't affect our play. We still won, that is because we've got a good squad. So I don't see a great problem here. in the case of Lloris; Vorm isn't a bad goalkeeper and under a more powerful team then we might have something to worry about. But I am happy with Vorm stepping up to the job.

Lamela and Wanyamma are still out.

Crystal Palace pair Mamadou Sakho and James McArthur are training and are in contention to play.
Patrick van Aanholt is still in doubt because of a hamstring problem and Lee Chung-yong is out with a similar issue.

I am going for a 5-0 win. Yes, it is a big scoreline but I think Spurs can do it. Not only that but we need to send a message to all the other teams that we won't be messed with.

It is also worth mentioning that West Ham takes on Liverpool today (Saturday) and tomorrow City take on Arsenal, while Chelsea plays United. If Liverpool can win, along with Arsenal and Chelsea - along with us, of course - then it can go someways in undoing the damage that United inflicted upon us. I know, it is a big hope... but sport is comprised of hope, luck and talent. Whoever wins the league this year - and I am backing our great team - they will need that bit of luck.

Those that are travelling to the match, take care and enjoy. Those that are watching on TV, also enjoy.

Yours truly, Don Scully
