Spurs v Swansea City at Wembley, KO at 5.30 pm.

We will be looking to registering our first league win against Swansea. After the brilliant display against Dortmund, we hope to beat Swansea convincingly.

We grabbed an impressive victory over Borussia Dortmund in midweek at the 'home of football' but are winless in the league there after losing to Chelsea and drawing with Burnley.

Swansea face a tough day and Paul Clement will be calling for a response following their 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle on Sunday. Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-yueng is again absent for the Premier League game. Kyle Bartley (knee ligaments) and Nathan Dyer, Achilles, remain out, but under-21 Scottish striker Oli McBurnie returns to the squad after his proposed loan switch to Barnsley fell through.

Some stats for tomorrows game.

Tottenham have never lost to Swansea in the Premier League, winning 10 of 12 meetings in the competition (D2).

Swansea has lost all six of their Premier League away games versus Spurs, shipping 15 goals and failing to score in three.

The Swans have lost 18 of their last 19 away games versus Tottenham in all competitions (W1), with their sole victory arriving in a League Cup clash in September 1978 (3-1).

Of all teams that Tottenham have faced 10 plus times in the Premier League, they have their highest win rate (83.3%) and goals-per-game average (2.33) against Swansea City.

Spurs have dropped more points in home games at Wembley Stadium this season (5) than they did in the entire 2016-17 Premier League season at White Hart Lane (4). But as with the Dortmund we expect that to change. I can see Wembley becoming our new fortress.

Keep your chins up and see you all there tomorrow. Wherever we are the mighty Cockerel will be crowing its head off.
