Huddersfield vs Tottenham Hotspur preview: team news, injuries and forecast.

So far we’ve had six league matches and only losing one at home, against league champions Chelsea. Our away record is superb, so going into this match we are very confident, but not overconfident. Every match will be a battle and every opponent will be challenging. Like always, I am confident that we can get something out of this match (and I am not talking about a draw).

Huddersfield is eighth in the league, winning two, drawing three and losing one. For a newbie, that is a good start. Their only defeat was away to West Ham. So they have a good home record. With a great home record v a great away record, something must give.

Injuries, updates and suspensions for tomorrow’s match.

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN

Huddersfield are hoping to have striker Steve Mounie back after a heel injury that has kept him out of the last couple of games.
Jon Stankovic, Kasey Palmer, Danny Williams and Collin Quaner are all definitely out.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Christian Eriksen has returned to training after missing the Champions League win at Apoel with a stomach bug, while Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen are available again after being suspended.

There are anxieties over Mousa Dembele's fitness, and Pochettino is choosing to manage him carefully. He will have had 10 days' rest before this game. Serge Aurier is suspended for being sent off – two yellows – for this match.
Erik Lamela, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama remain absent.

Our manager’s comments for Saturday's trip to Huddersfield: "A big challenge".

He then followed with: "I think they will be very motivated to play against us and have had the whole week to prepare for the game against Tottenham.
"But of course I know we will arrive in our best condition and ready to compete. That is the most important. It will be a very tough game.
"Sure that we will find a very energetic team, so athletic and in the Premier League always every game is tough and every game is difficult.

"I am not concerned because I feel that we will arrive in good condition, but always Premier League games are a challenge and for us, it's a challenge because the three points are so important."

So there you have it, from the horse’s mouth and my pen. Now it only leaves me to wish a great game tomorrow and we leave the game with three points.

Those travelling I wish you a safe journey, those watching it on TV, make sure your home seat is comfortable and both drink safely.

I predict a 3-0 win.
