A review: Spurs v Borussia Dortmund at Wembley. KO 7.45 pm.
The game will be televised live in the UK on BT Sport 3, with coverage starting at 7pm.
There is a lot riding on this match (more than just a Champions League game). Spurs need to kick start their season at Wembley. Their last game away – with the new intake – saw us play exceptionally well. We need to build on that match, and I believe we can. No Alli, but we still have a brilliant squad. No team should rely on one or two players. We have a squad and anyone of them should be up to mark.
For our first campaign in that competition, you couldn’t have picked a more difficult opponent. But they can be overcome. Even in our last two home games (this season), at Wembley, we were the better side and were very unlucky. Of course, looking back and making excuses isn’t going to help us going forward. We must be positive and take every chance we are given or make.

Spurs
Victor Wanyama is out with a knee injury but Mousa Dembele could return. Alli is suspended for the opening three games after his red card in the Europa League knockout stages last season. We have no fresh injury concerns beyond Moussa Sissoko suffering a knock at Goodison Park.
Dortmund
Marcel Schmelzer and defender Marc Bartra are not expected to be playing after suffering injuries at the weekend. They are also without the likes of Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro, Andre Schurrle, Erik Durm and Sebastian Rode.

Tottenham and Dortmund have met just twice before in competitive action, with the latter running out 5-1 winners on aggregate to reach the Europa League quarter-finals in 2015-16.
