Newcastle United 0 Tottenham Hotspur 2

For our first game of the season, we had to travel to St James Park. The last visit wasn't a happy one as we faced relegated Newcastle - expecting a good win - but ended up being thrashed 5-1. So on their return to the Premier league, Newcastle found they were going to face the team that they had bitter sweet memories of; us.
We started off reasonably well, that was until the idiot Newcastle Captain Jonjo Shelvey did something very stupid and dangerous, and that was stamping on Deli Alli's knee, who was lying on the floor defenceless. This was right in front of the referee and he was, rightly-so, shown the red card. Thirteen minutes later and Delli got his revenge, not by losing his temper, but by putting a goal in the back of Newcastle's net.
Newcastle had a few strikes, but most of the push came from Spurs, who eventually scored another after 9 minutes after Alli's (in the 70th minute). But the fireworks weren't over as Kane scored, only to see his goal being ruled offside.
A good start to the 2017/ 18 Premier league. Our next game will be at home, and our home will be, at least for a season, Wembley.
A new season, a new home ground, will always bring a few shivers, however, it doesn't end there, as our opponents will be last season's league Champions, Chelsea. A hard match no matter where one is playing this match, nevertheless, Chelsea were defeated in their home game, to Burnley (3-2). The last time we faced Chelsea was - ironically enough - at Wembley in the FA Cup semi-final. So a few hearts will be jumping in mouths. That is why we should come out fighting. In Chelsea's match they had 2 players sent off and will probably miss the Spurs game. But Chelsea will be dangerous when feeling cornered and threatened.
Whatever it will be it should be a good day out, in our new stadium. I am looking forward to it.
