If one is good at reading between the lines and has a bit of inside information then Daniel Levy is going to sit down and have a good old talk with Toby Alderweireld about his future at the club. He has become a very important part of the Spurs lineup and would certainly damage our prospects if he upped and left. His contract is up in 2019 and he has many clubs sniffing around. Including Rose. Both manager and Levy know how important it is to keep our best players and build onto that fine combination.

Toby has been consistent and a great player since joining Spurs. He has a good rapport with Jan Vertonghen in the centre of defence and may it long last.

Pochettino has said that he wants to win trophies and the league with Spurs and the only way we can do that is keep our best players. So there you have it, it is rock 'n' rolling when Spurs role into town with arguably one of the best first teams and an equally good back up subs bench.
