Davinson Sanchez Mina: who is he?

 

Davinson Sánchez Mina (born 12 June 1996) is a Colombian. He played centre-back for Ajax and the Colombia national team.

As a youth, Sánchez played in the youth academy of America de Cali.

In June 2016, Sánchez signed a five-year contract with Dutch side Ajax, until 2021. The club paid €5 million to Atlético Nacional.





In February 2016 he was called up to the national team. He made 26 appearances for Atletico Nacional and 32 appearances for Ajax. total 58 appearances. He is a young talented prospect with a lot of potential. Obviously, Spurs saw something special in him that could fill their back four, either as a waiting player or somebody to go straight into the main team. Either way, he has signed a 6-year contract and we wish him well.

However, all this is subject to a work permit and medical (which should be standard procedure).
