We haven't mentioned the new stadium yet. Well, I can tell you it is on schedule - and hopefully, we'll have a good winter - and then at the start of the following season, we will be at our new home.

Talking to developers it is all tickety-boo and many smiling faces around the stadium. But I or they don't want to jinx it as our British winters can be very notorious. If a few drops of snow or freezing weather can stop our British rail service then anything is possible. But saying that our Rail system is notorious for having a reputation for being badly run. At Spurs, we've got highly qualified engineers and people in the know, and are made of a bit more grit than your average British rail servant.

Personally, I can't wait as I am not that impressed with Wembley Stadium. The old stadium had more atmosphere and the visiting fans were more in tune with it. I've been on many occasions to the old stadium and it had a great feeling about it. I've witnessed many great Spurs games there. This new stadium feels just like an over inflated league stadium that is marketed to the high flyers, not the ordinary fan. Of course, you may disagree. So I am one that will be glad to be back with my own fellow yids, surrounded by their normal habitat.

The last game of White Hart Lane will never be reduplicated as it was a fantastic occasion with a fantastic atmosphere, which saw a great win over United (2-1), followed by a fanfare to the history, players and fans. It will never be trumped as it will forever more be etched into our memories.

Below is a link to the workings/ construction of the new stadium.
